Cade is hired to steal an item. However, it becomes a fight of life and death survival.

Synopsis The Heist ()

Following a lead in a quatrain, Cade returns to his thieving ways when he joins with his old partners to rob computer weaponry from a vault. Cade is hoping that it might prove a useful weapon against the Gua. In addition, he does not want it falling into Gua hands. Cade is able to get himself and his companions into the vault -- only to discover that the vault itself is the weapon. Besides being booby-trapped with a number of lethal defenses, Cade discovers it is a Gua device designed to measure the reactions of people going through emotional extremes. Unfortunately, it is also a maze of rooms that seem to keep shifting. As they run the gamut of every extreme of human emotion, can they keep their heads together long enough to find the way out?
